As decided at our May 2024 Synod, all those serving in any ministry or activity of their parish or the Diocese of Yukon, including volunteers, property maintenance, readers, servers, lay ministers, pastoral visitors, music, fundraising, vestry etc., must complete a Safe Church program and submit an RCMP Vulnerable Sector check to the Diocese.
These new procedures are to protect vulnerable individuals as we fulfill our Christian Ministry, as well as to meet insurance requirements.

As decided at Synod, the RCMP check must be completed and submitted to the Synod Office by 31 August 2024.
