The 43rd Synod was held in Whitehorse, YT at Christ Church Cathedral and Hellaby Hall.  The opening service of Synod with the Bishop's Charge was at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 24th.  Our special guest was Dr. Ryan Weston; Lead Animator, Public Witness for Social & Ecological Justice for the Anglican Church of Canada. We are Blessed.

The Synod theme of: Together in Truth for Justice & Love is taken from Ephesians 4.15-16.  But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every ligament with which it is equipped, as each part is working properly, promotes the body's growth in building itself up in love. (NRSV)
